What we store, and why
We use a single secure session cookie, whose only purpose is to keep you signed in as you move through the site. We also make use of your browser’s local storage to remember the contents of your cart and the animals you have saved, so that they remain available to you between visits on the same device. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party cookies that follow you elsewhere on the internet.
Your cart and saved animals
Until the moment you check out, your cart and saved animals reside in your own browser rather than on our servers, which is why you are able to use them without an account. Clearing your browser’s data will clear them.
Managing cookies
You remain in full control of cookies through your browser’s settings, and you may clear or block them at any time. You should be aware that blocking the session cookie will prevent you from remaining signed in.
